SIX Telekurs has now upgraded the bandwidth in Edge, resulting in a doubled capacity in data transmission and possibility to send more information than before. The upgrade brings enhanced performance and lower latency. In order to take advantage of the improvement, we ask you to switch to the new environment.
To switch to the new environment, Edge needs to access the new server addresses. This can be done manually if you are an administrator on your computer. Otherwise, your IT help desk will need to do it for you. Information for technicians can be found below.
Instruction for Edge users
Below is a short instruction film on how to change the address:
Edge will restart during the process, so save your work if you have made any changes in your workspace (Ctrl + S).
1. Click on the wrench in the top right of Edge to get to the Settings panel.
2. Select the Environment tab.
In the Profiles section, there may already be a profile called Edge Performance. If the profile already exists, skip paragraph 3 and go to paragraph 4.
3. Click Add... and write the addresses below. Then click OK.
4. Tick the new address Edge Performance and then click OK. Edge will now restart and the change is implemented!

Information to technicians
Network configuration on client side:
1. Route network194.68.36.0/25 via internet to SIX Telekurs in the same way as you have done with the networks 62.119.132.0/27 and 193.12.100.0/25
2. If you use a proxy, configurate 194.68.36.0/25 in the same way as you have configurated 62.119.132.0/27 and 193.12.100.0/25
3. In your firewalls, open tcp gate 80,443 and 40000 to host 194.68.36.110 (services.six-telekurs.se).
