Clearly the strong profit is a result of the completion of our UK spin off in the second quarter and logged production numbers which are well ahead of forecast, Ashley Heppenstall, CEO of Lundin Petroleum, told CNBC after the Swedish company posted slightly smaller-than-expected second-quarter net profit.
