About the studio

In cooperation with the IR media company ZoomVision Mamato, SIX Telekurs has built a TV studio in its Swedish office on Sveavägen in Stockholm. The studio offers global television channels such as CNBC and Bloomberg TV the opportunity to interview CEOs and other senior executives in business and politics live on air. The studio has a permanent connection to the Kaknäs Tower and has been in full swing delivering interviews to the international financial television channels since mid-October.

"Many of the major international TV channels lack their correspondents or their own technology in Sweden. Our new studio gives them the opportunity to get in touch with banks, listed companies and other participants in the Swedish financial market. Conversely, Swedish players have the unique opportunity to reach out to international TV channels such as CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg TV and BBC World”, says Håkan Carlson, Head of News and Content at SIX Telekurs in the Nordics.

The SIX Telekurs studio is a neutral arena which means it is open to representatives from all sectors of industry, banks and other financial market participants.

"TV channels contact us and ask for help in booking interviews with analysts and strategists, listed companies' top executives and politicians. We also service news channels from the Swedish and Nordic markets”, says Fredrik Ohlsson, Partner in ZoomVision and project manager for the studio project. "It's a win-win situation, in which channels gain instant access to informed comment and interviews from Stockholm, while banks and listed companies get their message out internationally," continues Fredrik Ohlsson.

"Through this initiative, we believe we can help put both listed companies and the Swedish financial industry on the international map, while we ourselves have the opportunity to continue to connect our own brand SIX Telekurs with the international news flow", says Håkan Carlson.
